The Guide Pack easily carries secondary layers of insulation such as an Outfitter Jacket. When out in the bush and your secondary layer (vest, jacket or pullover) is not in immediate use, we recommend rolling these items into a tight "cigar" shape with their own set of compression straps. Having each secondary layer rolled tight with its own set of compression straps, allows the garment of choice for that hunt to be slipped into the Guide Pack's compression straps with the greatest efficiency. This pack includes six internal pockets, and a variety of compression straps enabling you to carry a tight, trim kit. It weighs 3 pounds and holds 2100 cubic inches of cargo. A highly praised feature on the pack is the beneficial hands-free rifle carry system. It is an ideal feature to secure your rifle while you are not in actual hunting mode. The pack includes a binocular pouch, which may be adjusted horizontally and/or vertically for a customized fit. A four-way sternum strap which works in conjunction with the binocular pouch, keeps the shoulder straps secure on your shoulders. A 2” waist strap with quick-release buckle also helps to keep the pack secure an reduces weight on shoulders. The two internal stays located in the main compartment allow you to comfortably carry large loads.
